Before you fit them

These arms are made only for the Blaze X Mini, so they will not suit other Blaze or Illumagic models. They are designed for rimless tanks and sumps, so check your glass thickness against the clamps first. Fit one arm at each end of the fixture, set the light level before tightening, and route the power cable away from splashes, with a drip loop below the socket.
