JBL LED Solar Ir Remote Control

The JBL LED Solar IR Remote Control is an infrared remote for JBL LED Solar aquarium lighting. It switches the light on and off, dims it and adjusts colour temperature, and can tune RGB channels on supported lamps. A CR2025 button cell is included.

Compatibility and use

The remote works with JBL LED Solar lamps that have an infrared sensor, so check your light’s model before buying; RGB adjustment also needs a lamp with RGB channels. Infrared needs a clear line of sight, so stand in front of the aquarium when using it and make sure nothing, such as a lid flap or floating plant leaves, blocks the sensor. Keep the remote somewhere dry, away from the splash zone, as humidity can corrode the contacts. If it stops responding, fit a fresh CR2025 cell the right way round before suspecting a fault in the lamp.

Good to know

Point the remote at the light’s sensor, and replace the button cell when the response weakens.
