Building with mixed sizes

Because the box holds a mix of sizes, use the largest pieces to form a stable base directly on the tank floor and stack the smaller ones on top to create caves, ledges and overhangs that fish can swim through. The rock is supplied free from microbiological contamination, so it starts out clean but without established bacteria; allow time for it to mature in the system before adding sensitive livestock. It is natural rock rather than material taken from living coral reefs, and the 12kg box is enough for a modest reef structure in a smaller marine tank.
