Applying it for the best finish

It is easiest to fit the background before the aquarium is set up or while there is still plenty of room behind it, as you need full access to the outside of the back glass. Cut the poster to size first and tape it along the top edge so it cannot slip. Spread a thin, even layer of Posterfix over the glass, then lower the poster onto it and press out excess gel and air towards the edges with a squeegee or soft cloth. Wipe away any gel that squeezes out before it dries. When you later change the design, the poster can be peeled off and the glass cleaned ready for a new one.

Good to know

Clean the back glass thoroughly first and smooth the poster from the centre outwards.
