What to check before buying
Each Day Control runs one NovoLux LED lamp, so if your aquarium has two or three NovoLux lamps and you want them all to fade in and out, you will need a controller for each. It sits between the lamp and its power supply, and at 9.5 x 6 x 1.5 cm it is small enough to tuck out of sight behind the cabinet. Set the sunrise and sunset start times and dimming durations to suit when you are home to enjoy the tank, and allow a gentle fade of several minutes so fish are not startled when the light comes on.
Good to know
Gradual dimming helps fish settle at the start and end of the day and reduces stress from sudden light changes.
