Getting the best results

Kruuse designs this rake for long, thick and double coats, where it lifts out loose undercoat without damaging the top coat and also pulls out dirt, tangles and small mats. Work section by section, holding the top coat back with one hand and drawing the rake through the undercoat beneath, so dead hair comes away without tugging at the guard hairs. Rake more often during seasonal moults, when most undercoat is shed. Regular raking also spreads the coat’s natural oils for a healthier shine.
