Mutneys Soothe & Calm Shampoo 5L

Mutneys Soothe & Calm Shampoo is a dog shampoo made for dogs whose skin is irritated or damaged. It contains three selected essential oils, lavender, geranium and tea tree, which are included for their soothing and cleansing properties, helping to settle itchy, uncomfortable skin while the coat is washed. The concentrate is diluted at ten parts water to one part shampoo before use, so this 5 litre container goes a long way, which suits grooming salons, kennels and multi-dog homes. It can be used as part of a regular bathing routine for dogs with sensitive skin.

Diluting and using it

Mutneys recommends diluting this shampoo at ten parts water to one part shampoo, so the 5 litre container makes around 55 litres of ready-to-use wash. Work the diluted shampoo into the skin and coat, leave it on for about five minutes so the lavender, geranium and tea tree oils have time to work, then rinse thoroughly and repeat if needed. It is suitable for puppies from 12 weeks. Like the rest of the Mutneys range it is made in the UK and biodegradable. For skin that is broken, inflamed or not improving, follow your vet’s advice before bathing.

Good to know

This shampoo is for dogs only, as tea tree oil is not suitable for cats. Avoid the eyes, and rinse them with plenty of clean water if any shampoo gets in.
