Feeding directions

Ocean Nutrition makes Reef Pulse as a powder for SPS and LPS corals, tube worms and other omnivorous filter feeders, with corals such as Euphyllia, Acropora, Montipora and zoanthids in mind. It blends marine copepods, krill, squid, fish proteins, yeast, artemia nauplii, mussels, marine fish eggs and micro algae, and contains 53% protein. Particles range from 5 to 400 microns, so both small and large polyps can feed. For whole-tank feeding, use up to one teaspoon per 400 litres, adjusted to how densely the tank is stocked. For target feeding, mix up to one teaspoon in 100ml of water per 400 litres and release it near the corals with a pipette. The 10g jar suits nano tanks and the 120g jar larger reefs.

Good to know

Start with a small dose, ideally with the lights off when many polyps extend, and watch nitrate and phosphate levels.
