Getting the fit right

The X-Large fits a chest girth of about 84 to 112 cm, so measure around the widest part of your dog’s ribcage, just behind the front legs, before ordering. Once fitted, lift your dog gently by the handles on dry land: the jacket should stay put without sliding forward or twisting. Introduce it in shallow water first so your dog gets used to the feel of floating, and rinse it in fresh water after swimming in salt or chlorinated water.
