Choosing and using it

The Small suits small breeds and cats, while the Regular covers larger dogs and long coats more quickly. A pin brush is gentler than a slicker, so it is ideal for daily brushing and for fluffing and finishing long coats after knots have been removed. Work in layers, lifting the top coat with one hand and brushing the hair beneath. Follow up with a comb to check for knots you might have missed.

Brush gently in the direction of hair growth and work through tangles a little at a time. Remove hair from the tool after every session.
