Getting the best from it

The RS-338, RS-348A and RS-608 share the same 3.5 L/min output and 5 W rating, so choose by the model you are replacing or the casing you prefer. Run airline tubing to an air stone or sponge filter, and add a control valve if you split the air between several outlets. Standing the pump on a soft mat cuts vibration noise, and clean or replace an air stone once its bubbles turn coarse.

Good to know

Place the pump above the water line or fit a non-return valve so water cannot siphon back, and keep the air inlet free of dust.
