Treatment steps
Before treating, remove all invertebrates, switch off UV or ozone units, and take out carbon, Purigen or other chemical media. In marine tanks, Seachem’s dose is 1ml per 40 litres on the first day, repeated after 48 hours, reaching 0.5 mg/L of copper; freshwater tanks take half that dose. Keep the level for 14 days, and test with a copper test kit rather than redosing blindly. Do not combine it with other medications or with conditioners and ammonia binders while treating. Follow the pack directions or your vet’s advice.
Good to know
Do not use with invertebrates or live plants. Treat in a quarantine tank and monitor copper with a test kit.
