Dosing and best results

Seachem’s starting dose is one capful, 5ml, for every 40 litres, followed by one capful per 80 litres whenever you add livestock or disturb the biological filter, for example after a filter clean. Because it contains live bacteria, switch off any UV steriliser or ozone while dosing and leave them off for two or three days so the bacteria can establish, and if you have been treating with antibiotics, remove them with fresh carbon and a water change first. It can be used alongside Seachem Stability, each at its own label dose. The 100ml bottle suits small tanks, while the 250ml and the 325ml bonus bottle are better value for larger aquariums.

Good to know

Dose weekly or after cleaning, and avoid adding it during antibacterial treatments.
