Choosing a size and dosing

Reef Fusion 1 must always be used with Reef Fusion 2, so buy matching sizes: 500ml or 1L suits nano and small reefs, while the 2L and 4L bottles are better value for large systems or tanks with heavy coral growth. Test calcium and alkalinity before you start, then adjust the daily dose until both stay steady. Never mix the two parts in the same container, as they react together; dose them at different times or into different areas with good flow. Many keepers automate the routine with a two-channel dosing pump, which keeps levels steadier than larger manual doses.
