Seachem Stability is a blend of aerobic, anaerobic and facultative bacteria that quickly establishes the biological filter in fresh and saltwater aquariums. It breaks down waste, ammonia, nitrite and nitrate, helping prevent new tank syndrome without producing hydrogen sulfide. This is the 250ml bottle.

Dosing for a new tank
On day one, add one 5 mL capful for every 40 L, then one capful for every 80 L daily for the next seven days; fish can go in straight away as long as you keep to this schedule. After that, dose one capful per 80 L once a month, with each water change, when adding new fish and when medicating. Shake the bottle well, and switch off any UV steriliser or ozone during the first week, or for at least 24 hours after routine doses. Overdosing is hard to do, though extra bacteria can briefly cloud the water. The 100ml and 250ml bottles suit small tanks, while the 325ml bonus, 500ml and 2L sizes suit larger systems.
Good to know
Dose daily when setting up a new tank, and after water changes, filter cleaning or adding new fish.
