Size, weight and handling
Seachem’s 20-litre jug measures roughly 24 x 24cm at the base and stands about 38cm tall, so check that it fits under your tap, RO unit outlet or in the car boot before buying. Remember that it weighs around 20kg when full, which is heavy to carry any distance; if that is too much, Seachem also makes a 10-litre version of the same jug. For keepers short on storage space, Seachem’s collapsible HydroTote is the folding alternative. Fill the jug where it will stand rather than lifting it full onto a worktop.
