Seachem Zeolite is a highly porous natural zeolite filter media. It binds ammonia and heavy metals such as lead, copper, nickel and zinc, and does not deplete calcium in saltwater, making it useful for new tanks and emergencies. This is the 250ml pack.

How much to use
Seachem recommends 250ml for every 200 litres, or about one level teaspoon (5ml) per 4 litres in small tanks; that amount removes up to 0.5 mg/L of ammonia, and levels should fall to zero within 24 to 48 hours. Place it where water flows through it without the grains tumbling against each other, such as in a canister, media chamber or box filter. Once ammonia is under control, it can be removed or swapped for activated carbon. For heavy metal removal, leave it in service and replace it monthly. It will not raise general hardness in freshwater.
Good to know
Rinse before use and place in a filter bag. Replace it when ammonia starts to rise again.
