Fit, settings and care

This blade only fits the PGC-660 clipper, so check the model on your machine before ordering, as it will not fit other clippers. The cutting length adjusts between 0.25, 0.5, 0.8 and 1.0 mm, roughly equivalent to #40, #30 and #15 blades, which covers close work such as paw pads, sanitary areas and faces as well as a short all-over finish. Start at a longer setting and go shorter only where needed, because very close blades can irritate sensitive skin. Clip clean, dry, brushed hair, and pause regularly to feel the blade, since even ceramic can warm up during long sessions. Brush away hair after each groom and add a drop of clipper oil to keep the action smooth. Take care not to drop it, as the ceramic cutter can chip.
