The Sicce Jolly Preset 6 is a 6 W plastic heater made for small freshwater, marine and turtle tanks. Its reinforced casing is fully submersible and unbreakable, so it is durable and safe, and it can be placed under the gravel in turtle or reptile tanks. An electronic thermostat is preset at 25°C and switches the heater off once that temperature is reached, a red light shows when it is on, and thermal protection prevents overheating if it is out of the water. Suction cups hold it firmly in place.

Using a preset heater

A preset heater has no dial, so check the temperature with a thermometer for a few days after installing it. The cable is 1.5m long; place the heater where water moves past it. Results vary with room temperature and tank size, so it suits small, nano tanks kept in a warm room.

Good to know

Unplug it before removing it from the tank, and also during water changes if the level will drop below the heater.
