The Sicce Scuba Contactless Submersible Heater is a shatter-resistant glass aquarium heater with patented contactless electronic control. You set the temperature from 15 to 35°C using your phone, it holds it to within about 1°C, and it switches to an energy-saving mode once the set temperature is reached. This is the 400W version.

Choosing the wattage

Sicce matches each wattage to a tank size: 150W for 120 to 180 litres, 200W for 150 to 230 litres, 250W for 200 to 280 litres, 300W for 250 to 350 litres and 400W for 300 to 480 litres. Where your tank falls in an overlap, the higher rating is the safer choice for a cool room. Temperature is set and checked through Sicce’s free ContrALL app, the heater shuts itself off if it overheats, and a light shows when it is on. It mounts with a suction-cup bracket and has a 2.2m cable.
