The Sicce Syncra 1.0 is a silent, energy-saving multifunction pump that can be used submerged or in-line. It suits freshwater and marine aquariums, sumps, terrariums and water features, delivering up to 950 L/h with a maximum head of 1.5m while drawing just 16W.

Uses and setup
Sicce lists the Syncra Silent 1.0 for aquariums, terrariums, protein skimmers, water-cooling systems and fountains, and it comes with stepped hose adapters and rubber feet. It uses an AISI 316 stainless steel shaft, with a ceramic shaft available as an option, and has thermal protection. Taller suction cups reduce vibration when it is mounted on glass. The 950 l/h rating drops as you pump higher, so for returns of more than about a metre, consider the 1.5 or 2.0 models in the same range. The cable is 1.5m long.
Good to know
Clean the pump’s intake and impeller regularly, and never let it run dry, as water cools and lubricates the motor.
