Before fitting

This part replaces the rotor and its AISI 316 stainless steel shaft in the Syncra Silent 1.0, the 950 l/h, 16W pump Sicce lists for aquariums, turtle tanks, skimmers, water cooling and fountains. Check the model on your pump label first, as each Syncra size takes its own rotor. A noisy pump or dropping flow after cleaning are the usual signs of wear. Unplug the pump, open the front cover, pull out the old rotor, clean any limescale from the chamber, and fit the new rotor and shaft before reassembling.

Good to know

Unplug the equipment before servicing, and clean the impeller housing while it is open.
