Sicce Syncra HF 16.0 Pump – 16000L/h

The Sicce Syncra HF 16.0 is a powerful, energy-efficient pump with a synchronous permanent magnet motor, thermal protection and an option for low-level pumping. It works submerged or in-line, delivering up to 16,000 L/h with a maximum head of 4.5m for large aquariums and ponds.

Power and installation

At full output the HF 16.0 draws 175W, so it is aimed at large aquariums, sumps and ponds that need high volume. Its threaded connections take 1½-inch fittings and hose adapters are included, and it can be set up to pump or drain water from a very low level. An internal recirculation system flushes debris out and helps keep the motor cool, while the ceramic shaft and thermal protection add reliability. The standard cable is 3m, with a 10m version made for ponds. Size the pipework generously, as narrow hoses waste much of the flow.

Good to know

Clean the pump’s intake and impeller regularly, and never let it run dry, as water cools and lubricates the motor.
