Dosing and storage

Vetafarm, whose avian vets formulated the tablets, gives a dose of half a tablet per kilogram of bodyweight per day, so a 1kg bird would have half a tablet daily and the pack would last 100 days at that rate. The tablet can be pushed into a food item or given directly to birds that are eating less than usual. It supplies vitamins A, B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B9, B12, D3, E, K and H plus iodine, and can be used daily for maintenance or during periods of stress, illness or recovery from injury. Store below 30°C away from light, and follow the pack directions or your vet’s advice.
