Preparing a dose
Poly-Aid Plus provides first-aid nutritional support for sick and injured falcons, combining rapid and sustained-release energy with vitamins, electrolytes and probiotics. To prepare a dose, mix 10g (one tablespoon) of powder with 5ml (one teaspoon) of water to make a slurry, and give it once or twice a day until the bird is eating normally again. Make each slurry fresh and discard any that is left over. The 80g pack provides eight doses, which suits a first-aid kit, while the 500g size is better for larger mews or rehabilitation work. Store it below 30°C. Follow the pack directions or your vet’s advice.
