The Waterbox Crystal Peninsula 7226 is a large rimless reef-ready aquarium in 15 to 19 mm Starphire ultra-clear bevelled glass, each tank water tested and inspected before sale. An overflow with dual return nozzles avoids dead spots, and a pre-plumbed dual manifold lets you run reactors without extra pumps. The marine-spec UV-coated cabinet has doors on both sides, and the sump is refugium-ready with four 4 in filter socks and a built-in evaporation reservoir.

Planning the installation

Both colours share the same 180 x 65 x 60 cm footprint, so choose the black or white cabinet to suit your room. The peninsula layout puts the overflow at one short end, leaving both long sides and the far end open to view, so the tank can act as a room divider. Lighting, circulation and filtration equipment are your choice and are bought separately. Once filled, the system weighs several hundred kilograms, so confirm your floor can carry it.

Good to know

Assemble the cabinet on a level floor, fit the plumbing as the instructions show and run the filled system for a leak check before adding rock and livestock. Leave room around the cabinet for maintenance.
