Dosing in litres

The label doses are in US measures: one teaspoon, about 5ml, per 50 gallons, which is roughly 190 litres, or a quarter cup, about 60ml, per 600 gallons, roughly 2,270 litres. For a 1,000-litre pond that works out at about 26ml per dose, so this 16oz (473ml) bottle covers the twice-weekly start-up fortnight and then around three months of weekly maintenance. Measure your pond’s volume before you start so each dose is accurate.
