AQUA MEDIC PH CONTROLLER WITHOUT SENSOR The pH controlleris a precision instrument for controlling the pH value in aquaria. In combination with a CO2system and a solenoid valve the pH can be maintained at a constant level, and the CO2supply to aquatic plants can be controlled. The unit is supplied with a large LED display and the control range is digitally adjustable from pH 3.5 to 10.5.The direction of adjustment can be set up or down.ThepH controllerhas a BNC connection for pH electrodes.The use of an original Aqua Medicplastic shafted electrodeis recommended.

What else you need

As the name says, the pH electrode is not included, so you will need a probe with a BNC plug, ideally the brand’s own plastic-shafted electrode, plus calibration solutions. To control CO2 you also need a CO2 cylinder with a pressure regulator, a solenoid valve plugged into the controller and a diffuser or reactor. Calibrate the electrode before first use, place it where water flows well but away from the point where CO2 enters, then set your target value. Recalibrate the probe regularly, and keep it moist when it is out of the water, as a dried-out electrode gives false readings.
