JBL ProAquaTest Easy 7in1

JBL ProAquaTest Easy 7in1 test strips give a quick overview of seven key water values in about a minute. One strip measures chlorine, pH, general hardness (GH), carbonate hardness (KH), nitrite and nitrate, and the CO2 content can then be read from a table using your pH and KH results. The strips are meant for general guidance when checking aquarium, pond, well or tap water. To test, swirl a strip in the water for two to three seconds, let the excess drain off sideways and compare the pads with the colour scale on the pack after one minute.

When strips are the right choice

Strips are ideal for routine checks, testing tap water before a water change, or comparing several tanks quickly. If a reading looks worrying, confirm it with a liquid test for a more precise result. Keep the tube tightly closed and dry, avoid touching the test pads, and check the expiry date, as old or damp strips give unreliable colours.

Good to know

JBL sells separate individual tests for phosphate, ammonium/ammonia and other values that these strips do not cover.
