JBL ProTemp S 25W

JBL ProTemp S 25W is a compact safety heater with a built-in thermostat for nano and small aquariums of 10 to 50 litres. The dial can be set anywhere from 20 to 34°C, and the thermostat holds the chosen value to within about 0.5°C. A ceramic heating element with a star-shaped profile passes warmth evenly into the water. The heater is made of unbreakable quartz safety glass and sits in a protective basket, so fish cannot rest against it and the aquarium glass is protected too. It is watertight to 100 cm, has dry-running protection and is TÜV tested.

Right for small tanks

At 25W this heater is sized for aquariums of 10 to 50 litres and 30 to 60cm long, such as nano tanks, betta tanks and small breeding or quarantine set-ups. Choose your temperature between 20 and 34°C on the dial before the heater goes in, then fix it with the suction cups where water moves past it, for example near the filter. Dry-running protection guards against electrical accidents if the water level falls, but unplug it during water changes anyway, and confirm the temperature with a thermometer after a day.

Fit the heater into its basket and set the dial before placing it in the water, then secure it to the inside pane with the suction cups.
