Setting the right height

This Single version holds one lamp holder from its hook; the holder and bulb are bought separately. Before buying, check the base plate can slide under your enclosure and the arm reaches over the area you want to heat. Set the lamp height so the basking spot reaches the right temperature for your species, measured with a thermometer at animal level, and make sure climbing animals cannot reach the lamp and passers-by cannot knock it.
