Choosing colour and working tips

The kit comes in Grey or Pink, so pick the shade closest to your rock: Pink blends with coralline-coloured rock, while Grey suits darker rock and joints in shade. Mix small batches, since mortar starts to set while you work, and wear gloves. Support heavy pieces with acrylic rods while bonding. After curing, soak the structure in fresh water and check the pH of the soak water before it goes into the aquarium.
