Dosing and who it suits

Seachem’s dose is one capful (5 ml) for every 80 litres, daily or as needed to keep plants growing, so the 500 ml bottle gives 100 doses, around three months of daily use in an 80 litre tank. It is especially useful when setting up a new planted tank, after a big trim or when replanting, to help cuttings and new plants root and shoot quickly. Seachem states it is safe for all aquarium inhabitants, including shrimp, when dosed as directed. As a growth enhancer rather than a fertiliser, it works best alongside a full nutrient routine, so keep dosing your usual fertiliser too.
