Sicce Micron 300 Internal Filter

The Sicce Micron 300 is a compact internal filter for starter tanks, turtle tanks and small aquariums. It fits horizontally or vertically using high-grip suction cups, delivers 300 L/h on just 5W, has 4-step flow regulation and a low-level intake for shallow water.

Media and setting it up

The Micron 300 comes with foam for mechanical filtration and Sicce’s Bio Trix ceramic media for biological filtration, held in interchangeable cartridges. You can add optional HyperCarbo or ZeroPhos 20g cartridges if you need activated carbon or phosphate removal. Because it can run fully or partly submerged with a low-level intake, it works well in turtle tanks and shallow setups where the water does not reach the top of the glass. Start on a lower flow setting for small fish or bettas and turn it up as needed. The cable is 1.5m long, so check the distance to your socket.

Good to know

Rinse the sponge in tank water during maintenance, and replace it when it no longer springs back.
